Andrew Hood is Director of Academic Writing and Oratory at Barker College, Hornsby. He holds degrees from Sydney and Macquarie Universities, and a diploma of Education from the University of New England. Andrew has been a researcher in a three year ARC large grant into Chekhov’s reception in the English-speaking world. He has interests in Shakespeare and contemporary approaches to teaching Shakespearean texts in schools, literary theory and imaginative writing, as well as a longstanding involvement in school debating and public speaking.
